How To Design A Shishi Odoshi Fountain?

If you don’t already know, Shishi Odoshi is a Japanese term for Deer Scarer Fountain.

Years ago, Japanese farmers used to place Shishi Odoshi’s in their farms to hydrate them and keep the deers away.  :)

Well, today, it has become a classic garden decor item.  Considering its rocking motion, some also known it as water hammer.

Far from being a hammer, this beautiful fountain create an aesthetic appeal.  I’ve a tabletop shishi odoshi and I love it.
